Ballistic resistance - INSULGARD architectural security glazing, doors, window frames, pass-throughs and other products are tested and rated to widely accepted UL752, NIJ and WFML standards. Products are available to meet ballistic Level 1 to Level 8 (including the supplementary shotgun rating) to match almost any threat level.

Blast resistance - the goal of the blast resistant glazing is to restrict access to and/or minimize or eliminate physcial or property destruction. SABIC Polymershapes INSULGARD has glazing and window frames that have been tested and approved to meet standards such as Department of State (DOS), General Service Administration (GSA) Level C (4 psi at 28 psi ms duration) and Level D (10 psi 90 psi ms)

Severe weather glazing - natural phenomenon like hurricanes or tornados can result in large and small windborne debris. Traditional glass glazing can break into small shards when hit resulting in physical injury and/or property/water damage. Security glazing can reduce the effects of storm damage.

Detention glazing - security glazing can provide up to 100% visibility within a facility, potentially eliminating the need for bars and scheduled walk-throughs that can result in labor savings.
